DP the Ground Hogg, grew up in the multicultural West Bank neighborhood Mpls. He started writing verses in high school and took a brief stint at the IPR , studying engineering before falling in love with funk music. As times became rough and uncertain, DP the Groundhogg began cashing in on the IT business and used it to fund his independent release "Welcome to the Woodz Vol 1".
